Windows Drive Mapping Instructions

Microsoft Windows computers ONLY.

Method 1:  (use if connected to UAWiFi or Cisco VPN )

Once connected to UAWiFi or the CiscoAnyconnect VPN, you can easily map COP Network Drives by downloading the MapNetworkDrives file below. 

MAP NETWORK DRIVES DOWNLOAD

  1. Click on the Map Network Drives Download Button and double-click the download file.  (You may be prompted to allow this app by Windows, select 'Trust this application')
  2. Enter your College of Pharmacy username — do not enter your full email address.
  3. Enter your College of Pharmacy password. NOTE: Your user name will show up as "Pharmacy\User". Do not remove this when entering your password.
  4. Open Windows File Explorer (folder icon on the taskbar on the bottom of the screen) and click “This PC”.  Look for mapped drives in the right windows pane. It may take a minute for them to appear.

 

Note: Some Antivirus products may mark this app as a 'Trojan' or 'Malware' and prevent you from running it. Sophos does not block it, but others may.  AVG is a known one. You can allow it by following their directions. 

To disconnect the mapped drives download the DisconnectNetworkDrives file below.

Method 2:

Mapping the drives:

  1.  Goto your desktop
  2.  Click to open “File Explorer” on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen–looks like a folder.
  3.  On the left side, click once on “This PC”
  4.  At the top of the toolbar, select “Computer” then click “Map Network Drive”
  5.  From the “Drive” drop-down, select the drive letter you are mapping
  6.  For Folder: type or cut and paste these addresses below.  Map one drive at a time:
    1.  For L drive use:   \\pharmacy.pharmacy.arizona.edu\users\<username>
    2.  For O drive use:   \\pharmacy.pharmacy.arizona.edu\data\share
    3.  For Q use:   \\pharmacy.pharmacy.arizona.edu\data\workgroups
  7.  Check the box to “Reconnect at sign-in”
  8.  Check the box to “Connect using different credentials”
  9.  Click “Finish”
  10.  When prompted, enter COP credentials:
    1.  Enter COP username as:  “pharmacy\username”
    2.  Enter COP password

NOTE:    If you want this drive mapping to stay on your computer, make sure the box “Reconnect at login” is checked. You should not use this option if you use a shared or public computer.

You are now able to reach your network drives.
